Poult Pellets
Poult Pellets er et specielt designet vedligeholdelses foder til fasaner og agerhøns. Produktet som allerede er repræsenteret i vores eksisterende engelske foderprogram, har til formål at vedligeholde fuglenes kondition og sundhed i efteråret og vinterperioden.
Via foderet tildeles fuglene en god og afbalanceret ernæring i form af let fordøjelige råvarer, samt en nøje afstemt kombination af proteiner (16 %), vitaminer og mineraler.
Vildtpleje
Det anbefales at foderet anvendes som et supplement til den øvrige fodring af vildtet i terrænet (hvede/majs). Herved tilbydes fuglene et nærende og afvekslende fødevalg, som på mange områder vil styrke deres generelle kondition/sundhed igennem vinteren.
Udover en god biotop, management m.m. er Poult Pellets et interessant bud på en ny måde at forsyne fuglene med et ekstra tilskud af proteiner og essentielle næringsstoffer. Disse næringsstoffer vil være gavnlige for fasaner og agerhøns i flere henseender og ikke mindst inden en ny ynglesæson.

 Traditionally birds being released to the woods which have been reared using complete game feeds would be moved onto wheat and offered wheat throughout the shooting season.
Whilst this works well and is cost effective there are some potential drawbacks with this system. Birds and animals need a balanced diet in order to receive adequate nutrition for optimal growth, health and maintenance. When offering wheat alone the uptake of other naturally occurring feeds by the birds can be limited. This will be particularly true in very hard winters where the prevalence of naturally occurring foods will be limited.
Wheat provides the bird with readily digested energy and some protein however this single ingredient does not provide these nutrients in the optimal balance required by the birds for optimal growth and maintenance. This practice may also limit the birds intake of vitamins and trace elements, essential for the functioning of the immune system in particular. The use of Gameplan Poult Pellets at strategic points through the winter can help to redress this balance. By providing a balanced ratio of protein and energy together with an enhanced supply of vitamins and trace elements the birds will get through the winter in much better shape. The addition of aniseed to the pellet helps to keep the birds in the desired area providing much better sport. Any birds remaining at the end of the season will be fitter and healthier coming into the breeding season thus boosting the population of wild birds. |
